To prevent clients from creating back-to-back bookings in your kitchen, you can set an automatic booking buffer.
For example, if you want to leave time between clients' bookings for cleaning or maintenance, or simply build in a cushion, you can ensure that bookings must be created 30 or 60 minutes apart.
Turn your booking buffer on and off from: Kitchen Settings > Calendars > Scheduling Settings
If your time increment for bookings is set to 30 minutes, the booking buffer will be 30 minutes.
If your time increment for bookings is set to 60 minutes, the booking buffer will be 60 minutes.
When a food business attempts to create a booking that has a start/end time that is the same as another existing booking’s start/end time, here is the message they will see:
Note:
The kitchen admin can override this restriction and create bookings that share a start/end time.
If a client attempts to edit their booking to share a start/end time with an existing booking, the edit will be rejected.
