Here is the order of operations for how we calculate the hourly rates for a booking:

  1. Is the Client on a Time-Based Monthly Plan? If so, the system recognizes this and will charge the client per the time-based billing plan rates, not the hourly Calendar rates. If you have added overage tiers (peak and off-peak), these will also be used for bookings, not the hourly Calendar rates.

  2. Is the Client on an hourly plan and do they have a custom hourly dollar rate or percentage? If so, and the above doesn't apply, the system uses that rate or percentage to override the hourly Calendar rate.

  3. Is the Calendar set up for off-peak hour rates? If so, and the above doesn't apply, the system looks to see whether any of the time used is off-peak and if so, applies the off-peak rate for that time (if there is a custom percentage, the system will consider the percentage when calculating off-peak booked time).

  4. If none of the above apply, the system uses the default hourly rate set for the Calendar associated with that booking.
