Kitchens can offer a custom rate to their clients on hourly plans that will override the hourly (including off-peak) rates set as the default on Calendars.

You have the following two options:

Add a flat dollar amount rate that will override all calendar rates OR
Add a percentage of calendar rates that will apply to every calendar.

Note: These custom rates will apply to space bookings in calendars that are set to apply to billing plans. If the space calendar does not apply to billing plans, the client will be charged the rate set for that calendar space.

To assign a custom hourly rate (flat rate or percentage) to a client, go to Clients > Client Name > Next to 'Current Billing Plan' click 'Edit' > Check the Box under 'Custom Hourly Rate' > Enter the custom rate or percentage > Save.

The next time the client books on any calendar, the custom hourly flat rate or percentage rate will override the calendar rate.

Note the following:

The rate that goes into the % of Calendar rate will be the rate that the client will be paying for that space calendar, not the discount you are giving the client (i.e. a client with a 15% discount will pay 85% of the calendar rate).
You can also upcharge a client by adding a rate more than the calendar rate. For example, you have an executive client that you would like to pay 25% more than the space calendar rate. You would enter 125 in the % of calendar rate so the client is charged 25% more of the calendar rate.

Real-World Examples

% of Calendar Rate as a Discount

ATX Dog Bites is a new client and non-profit in with an hourly billing plan at Green Kitchen. Green Kitchen would like to give ATX Dog Bites a 25% discount to help them as they start out. To add the discount, they will enter '75' as the % of Calendar Rate for ATX Dog Bites to book time at 75% of the calendar rate.

% of Calendar Rate as an Upcharge

Big Tex Eats is a corporate client with an hourly billing plan at Green Kitchen. Green Kitchen would like to charge Big Tex Eats an additional 25% when booking space in their kitchen. To add the upcharge, they will enter '125' as the % of Calendar Rate for Big Tex Eats to book time 25% more than the calendar rate.
