Prospects live in their own tab within the Clients tab. The Prospects tab is where you can manage and onboard your potential clients. You can charge a prospect an application fee, view or add their required documents, message back and forth, add notes, and manage their status, all before approving them as a client.
New Prospects: A red dot notification will appear in the upper right corner of the Prospects tab when you have a new prospect. The notification will remain until their status has been updated.
Manage a prospect: From the Prospects tab, click on a prospect's business name to get to their profile. Here, you can manage their onboarding progress:
charge an application fee (or other one-time fee/credit)
view/upload their required documents
update their status
add notes
send them a message
Assign a checklist: If you are using The Food Corridor's Onboarding Flows feature, you can assign an onboarding checklist and see the progress of your prospect’s onboarding tasks.
When you click on a prospect's progress bar, you will be taken to their assigned Onboarding checklist, or if they do not have an assigned checklist, you can assign one to them. Being able to view a prospect's onboarding progress as well as any outstanding tasks or tasks, provides a transparent process that brings your prospect closer to becoming kitchen-ready. Approve as client: When you are ready to approve a Prospect as a client, hover over the prospect and click the check icon ☑️. The client will be moved to your Client's tab and will be able to start booking time in your kitchen.
Mark delayed: If you have Prospects that may be stuck in the onboarding process or not responding, you can mark them as delayed. You can choose to show or hide these include delayed Prospects with the filter checkbox at the top.
Delete a prospect: If you would like to delete a Prospect, you will need to first change their status to ‘delayed.’ Once their status has been changed to ‘delayed’ you can delete the prospect by clicking the trashcan icon. Or, you check the box to the left of their name and click “delete” up top.
Note On Mobile: 'Invite Client', 'Message Active Clients', 'Message In Progress Prospects,' and 'Manage Sign In' live under “All Options” on the Clients tab on mobile.
