How to Filter Your Message Inbox
Access your message inbox by either:
Clicking on the envelop icon in the top right of your screen (on desktop)
Select Menu and then Messages (on mobile)
By default, all client types will show when accessing your inbox.
To filter, click on the box that says 'Show all client types'. This will open up a dropdown list where you can select:
Clients
Prospects
Leads
Deleted
You can select one or multiple client types to display.
What Clients Are Included in Each Client Type?
'Clients' will include:
All Active and Inactive clients. This will be anyone that is listed under your Clients tab under the Client section.
'Prospects' will include:
All New, In Progress, or Delayed onboarding prospects. This will be anyone that is listed under your Clients tab under the Onboarding section.
'Leads' will include:
All New, Active, Invited, or Hidden leads. This will be anyone that is listed under your Clients tab under the Leads section.
'Deleted' will include:
Anyone that you have deleted from your account. This will be any client or onboarding prospect that you have deleted from your account or any lead you have declined.
💡 Note: Only clients with message threads will be listed in your inbox. If you have not messaged the client previously and they do not have a message thread with you, they will not be listed in your message inbox.
How Else Can I Stay Organized?
Unread messages:
Message threads that include an unread message will be bolded. Click on the thread to view the new message and clear the notification.
💡 Note: The inbox uses infinite scroll—additional threads load automatically when you reach the bottom of the page. If you don't see unread messages (bolded threads), scroll down to load more.
Search bar:
You can use the search bar at the top of the page to search for a specific client's message thread.
💡 Note: Use the search bar to search for a client's name, not a specific message.
Search message content:
Search any thread using the search bar at the top to find past messages by keyword.
